Hi - I work on Sand Hill Road and often walk to the green pond in the residential area in Menlo Park.
Today I saw 2 turtles with abnormal growth on their shells. We have seen turtles at the pond for years and have never seen these growths on their shell.
I always wondered if the unnatural green color of the water that is used in the pond affects the wildlife.
Please investigate this so that this doesnt keep happening to the innocent wildlife that live in that pond.
