To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Mollie Pedigo. I live in Redwood City, California. I have worked in downtown Menlo Park for 10 years. I have driven the route on Menlo Avenue to El Camino for all these years and there wasnt a curb that stuck out at that intersection of Menlo Avenue and El Camino Real. Around the end of last year 2025, there was some construction that occurred to make some additions to the crosswalk/intersection areas at El Camino Real and Menlo Avenue. Theres an added curb to the area. I noticed that this intersection area is the only one which has the added curbs. There is no reflector that allows the driver to see it when turning left onto El Camino Real. In less than a month, I have hit that added curb twice and had to get the tire repaired as well as a new hubcap because the impact of the hit knocked my hubcap off. It has cost me a lot of time and money. Please see attached for the invoices.
I am writing you so that I can be reimbursed for the inconvenience that has occurred for my time and the damage/repairs to my car. I also hope that you will fix this in adding a yellow diamond reflector like I have attached. Redwood City has installed a number of these at areas of intersections and crosswalks. I feel like this type of reflector will be beneficial for drivers when driving and walking.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Have a nice day.
Sincerely, Mollie Pedigo
