Thanks to a new grant, we are thrilled to welcome an additional part-time team member to help support our growing programs and expand our impact. It is an exciting step forward as we continue building more opportunities for connection, joy, and engagement. We are also introducing Camp AgeUp this summer, and it is already shaping up to be something special. Think adventure, fun, and trying things you may have never imagined, from surfing to flying a plane to learning how to craft a beautiful cappuccino foam heart as a barista for the day. Camp AgeUp is about curiosity, confidence, and the simple idea that new experiences are for everyone. Meanwhile, our Kindness Crew is continuing to expand, bringing music, dance, games, crafts, and caring connections to older adults and long-term care residents throughout our community. We could use volunteers to help with these activities, which take just an hour — youll find the schedule here. And for bookworms, we are delighted to host a book club with bestselling author Caroline Paul, creating space for conversation, inspiration, and shared discovery. More on this below! There is so much taking shape at AgeUp, and we are just getting started. With appreciation, Elyse Brummer Executive Director P.S.
