Thank you for your continued leadership on our climate crisis.
Our biggest challenge is migrating existing buildings off fossil fuels. The scale of the effort is daunting, and we have no time to lose.
There are no magic bullets, but the BlocPower proposal addresses several of the biggest challenges:
1. Streamlining the home electrification process;
2. Providing a single point of contact for motivated -- but busy -- residents;
3. Supporting innovative financing models; and
4. Developing the needed workforce.
Finally: this is no fly-by-night startup nor a crazy Google moonshot. BlocPower has serious backing from Goldman Sachs, and I don't think they do moonshots.
