My name is Brittany B. Goodwin, and I am a resident of the Belle Haven
neighborhood. I am writing to formally express my strong support for the
appointment of Meredith Rohr to the Menlo Park Planning Commission.
As a Belle Haven resident, I’ve seen how important it is to have leaders
who truly listen to the community and understand the needs of the
neighborhood. That is why I strongly support Meredith Rohr for the Planning
Commission. She has shown a real commitment to Belle Haven and has been
consistently involved in ways that make a meaningful difference.
Meredith’s work with organizations such as BHNA, BH Empowered, CRC/CCCT,
and her volunteer time coaching with Race Swami reflect the kind of
hands-on dedication our community needs. She doesn’t just talk about
helping—she shows up, stays engaged, and works directly with residents.
The Planning Commission is facing major issues, from affordable housing and
preventing displacement to environmental health, responsible development,
and revitalizing downtown Menlo Park. These are complex challenges that
require someone who is thoughtful, collaborative, and connected to the
people most impacted. Meredith brings those qualities.
I believe Meredith would be a strong advocate for Belle Haven and for all
residents of Menlo Park. She understands that the best decisions come from
listening, working together, and making sure every neighborhood has a
voice. She would be an excellent addition to the Planning Commission, and I
urge you to support her appointment.
