Dear Planning Commissioners,
I support the proposed downtown zoning changes along Santa Cruz Ave.
For years now, downtown Menlo has seen one vacancy after another. Rug stores moving in and then moving out. I think that addressing the current zoning restrictions contributes to these vacancies. It is time to be more flexible and hopefully by doing so a broader range of businesses would move in. Give it a chance.
