Dear Planning Commissioners,
I support the proposed downtown zoning changes along Santa Cruz Ave.
The current zoning is too restrictive and contributes to vacancies.
Allowing a broader range of businesses and more flexible use of downtown
spaces would help revitalize downtown Menlo Park. Ideally we get more
restaurants (we really need a take out salad spot, can we get Blue Barn
down here? Souvla?).
Please support these changes.
I do not want those big residential buildings replacing the parking lots as
well. Thank you for hearing all of the feedback of the local residents.
