Every single day there are gas leaf blowers still being used in the residential neighborhoods of Menlo Park- even on weekends. Calling in specific cases does not deter the use of gas blowers. The City is responsible for enforcing the ban and needs to do so as these blowers have a significant impact on air quality and neighborhood noise.
The City should be working with neighboring cities and the State to completely ban the use of gas gardening equipment, and the current ban should be more effectively enforced.
