The Empty levels in the Parking ramp

Mayor Nash and Council members,
In response to Mayor Nashs request for more information on the "Parking Issue":

Please See attached ten (10) photos of the Palo Alto Ramp levels 3, 4, 5 and sub levels A and B.

It is your fiduciary duty to explain why you believe a multi-level parking ramp in Downtown Menlo Park will replace (usable space for usable space) the existing (fully used ) 550+ street level parking spaces.

The facts:
The existing Palo Alto 5 level parking ramps are literally "empty" on levels above level 2 and "empty" below street level.

The reasonable conclusion: Your "plan" to build a multi-level parking ramp on our Downtown Parking Plazas will NOT replace existing parking spaces ( as you have promised )

Please provide me, and the voters, with a Written Explanation of why you are ignoring this Fatal Flaw that will Damage the "Vitality of Downtown Menlo Park" (Your Main Priority)

Hopefully, you will abandon this plan and start looking for more suitable locations for "State Mandated low cost apartments".

Respectfully,
Michael C. DeMoss
Unbiased Resident
Commercial Real Estate Attorney
Former City of Menlo Park Finance and Audit Commission Member
And former Chairman of the Audit Sub-Committee
