Dear Menlo Park City Council,
I am a parent of 3 young children and a pediatric doctor. I am writing, because a friend told me that recent legislation to improve gun safety was blocked by a threat of a lawsuit from one community member. This is very concerning with all the recent violence and the local shooting.
I am writing to ask what City Council is doing about gun safety and to ask what I can do to improve gun safety in our community? I am also writing to ask what type of concerted efforts are being put together across San Mateo and Santa Clara counties to improve gun safety and reduce guns in the community.
