Palo Alto, and other cities. The Santa Clara County sheriff supports public
accountability, which appears to be working well. Here is a statement from
the Sheriffs Transparency Portal: "Transparency, accountability, and
oversight are fundamental principles for Sheriff Jonsen. Upholding these
pillars, he has fostered a collaborative relationship with our oversight
body, the Office of Correction and Law Enforcement Monitoring (OCLEM). The
Sheriffs Office has partnered with OCLEM to refine practices, policies,
and services."
