As a resident of Belle Haven, I'm appalled at the lack of police response to illegal fireworks that took place in my neighborhood on Monday. I have other neighbors that stated they literally saw police officers on Carlon(parked) and on Madera where they sat and did nothing to stop these illegal fireworks. I can believe that it can be a challenge to actually see the individuals, however when you actually see 20-30 fireworks up in the sky it is not too difficult to spot where they are coming from ! The trash is very apparent on these streets and that tells you that they were setting them off for quite some time.
I do not understand how the Police can state they do not know where they are coming from when I can walk outside my home and CLEARLY see what street they are coming from. Let's not forget to mention all the cars parked on Willow overpass watching and not one Police officer insite..
DO SOMETHING !! DO YOU JOBS..THESE ARE ILLEGAL
