Dear Menlo Park City Council,
I live in Menlo Park, 229 McKendry Drive. I have lived here and swum for the Menlo Masters for 30 years. I have terrible arthritis such that I need a modified bicycle and I have had to have two knee replacement surgeries. I am not a super athlete, just someone who needs, wants, and appreciates both some discipline and structure to my exercise time, and the social factor of belonging to a team. Obviously I love Team Sheeper. Obviously I believe it would be a huge loss to me, and to the whole of Menlo Park, if you were to fail to reach an agreement on a contract.
I think you are mistaken if you don’t believe that there will always be unhappy/dissatisfied pool users ready to complain, no matter who is running the pool.
I think you are more mistaken if you really think the city can run the pool as efficiently and competently as Tim has.
