Hello.
Im a Palo Alto resident who often visits Menlo Park to shop, dine, see
personal service people and visit friends.
As you probably know traffic at Willow and Middlefield is already
horrendous and has been under construction for much of the last few years.
Approving this project will make things much much worse so please dont.
Re downtown Menlo Park and eliminating replacing all of the parking north
of Santa Cruz Avenue, you should know that for several years finding
parking downtown has been very very difficult -- so difficult that Ive had
to join the parade of cars endlessly circling looking for parking for up to
20 minutes. Finally tired of being late no matter how early I arrived, I
switched my hairdresser, manicurist and dentist to people outside Menlo
Park over the last 3 years.
Please think about what youre doing before you destroy downtown Menlo Park.
