Regarding the landscape options at the Willow Road exchange:
Please use only native trees. There are 32(!) trees native to Menlo Park (see list below). Not all are appropriate for that location. But it’s a no-brainer to use what is already adapted to and evolved with the landscape here. Non native species might look nice or have an exotic appeal. But they do not HELP the land and the fauna as native species do. Do the right thing: choose native.
