Hello Councilmembers,
We are 11 year residents of the Menlo Oaks neighborhood. We support
additional housing in Menlo Park. The former SRI campus project is an
example of how to add to our town in a reasonable and respectable way. The
N17 project is an abomination that seems almost malicious in intent.
The city cannot be afraid to fight a lawsuit related to this project. It
is insane that something of this scale could be built without regard to
environmental impact. We urge you to use whatever legal means available to
try and scale this project to an acceptable impact with balanced housing
gains.
