Please do everything in your power to protect the Menlo Park and Northern Palo Alto Communities that would be so severely impacted by the proposed mega tower at 80 Willow Road. Traffic and parking is already bad enough, and the public safety impacts are not fully understood. Is the developer going to pay for increased fire and police staffing, as well as the equipment our firefighters will need to effectively protect such a monstrous building? What about Palo Alto, who has no say in the matter but will be undoubtedly impacted. Not to mention that no one came to this beautiful area to live in the shadow of a sky scraper.
Please do not cede your authority and please do not abandon your constituents. Please do everything in your power to stop this high rise development.
