Suggestion: look at Bontas and Weiners donor lists. If you see any with Atherton or Menlo Park addresses, ask to meet with them. This is a project that will impact the very wealthy along with the rest of us. Maybe you can enlist a few influential people to lobby Bonta. I suspect Weiner is a lost cause. Also, ask MPFD to write a strong letter about response time and emergency access. I think this absurd and dangerous project has, for the developer, morphed into a contest about winning rather than about seriously wanting the proposed development. So, it is a game of sorts. But, the consequences will be both bad and dangerous.
