I’m writing to express my strong opposition to approving the 80 Willow Road permit application. I won’t restate the obvious reasons why this a complete disaster. I, however, would like to comment on the risk of litigation should the developer pursue a legal route. The risk of litigation is a risk for all cities and should not lead to an unwise decision regarding permit approval. Let them sue. It’s fine. There will be no difficulty in raising money to help with legal defense funds. I’ll be the first one to donate to a defense fund!
