Hello!
I wanted to message about the potential build on 80 willow rd. Being a resident of menlo park my whole life (over 3 decades) i highly disagree with the proposed giant buildings. Not only do i now live closer to this location (in the willows), i am even more against it. The traffic on middlefield and willow is already very congested during peak hours. The intersection of middlefield and woodland ave is already a problematic traffic and safety concern. Building atrocious gigantic buildings would make it even worse. Our family of 5 would most likely move out of the bay area if this were to happen. The fact that this city is my childhood and amazing schools is what has been keeping us here. It is understandable cities grow, but losing menlo park’s quaint home life would be in jeopardy. It just seems it would open the flood gates for more of a big city san francisco busy lifestyle that i do not want my children growing up in.
