Hello Mayor Nash and City Council members,To add my own experiences: I had 2 close calls with cars traveling NB on Coleman @ the stop sign, turning left onto Santa Monica. I walk to work using Santa Monica and have to walk on the streets due to the parked cars. I nearly got hit twice because there are no safe, walkable spaces to protect pedestrians.
- I like the idea of allowing parking between certain hours in the evening through the early morning.
- If the no-parking remains on Coleman, then we need to have no parking on both sides of the corner on Santa Monica with red zones or no parking signs. There is an existing one, but it is not being obeyed.
