A neighbor on NextDoor asked us to lobby for safer bike/car interactions at the foot of the bike bridge over 101. I am always for safe biking — any way we can achieve it — anywhere in the city. THANKS! - Susan Bryan, Willows resident
1. Install a stop sign at Ringwood and Van Buren. 2. Install a mirror at the bottom of the bridge ramp so bikers can see if a car is coming. 3. Install some sort of speed mitigation at the bottom of the ramp to force bikes to slow down (this suggestion is unpopular with my bike-commuter senior, but... ;).
