We want to raise serious concerns about removing parking from Middle Ave. The cars that use Middle to park wont just vanish, they will be displaced onto smaller side streets like Arbor and College creating a worse safety issue. The side streets have less space and have a lot of pedestrian and bike traffic which this proposal will force together. Its a step backwards for safety. As to bike lanes on Middle, its a much wider road and can safety accommodate both.
