Dear City Council,
My name is Joshua Carter and I am an MD/PhD student at Stanford University living in Menlo Park at 927 Continental Drive. I am writing to express my support for Maria Doerr for Menlo Park City Council District 5. As a young person and bike commuter, I feel that Maria understands and would work to address issues I care about, such as traffic/bike-ability of Menlo Park and addressing our emissions as a community.
Maria is passionate, committed and can serve as a connection between the individuals already working hard to improve and care for our community with the young people who are eager and invested in taking part in this important endeavor. Together, I believe that we can build a safer, more inclusive, and more affordable Menlo.
