Dear city council members,
I understand the council has decided to delay selection of Ray Mueller’s replacement until AFTER council member Mueller has left the council. While I appreciate the difficulties of a compressed Holiday schedule, this sounds like a very bad idea. Particularly in light of the major issues facing the council over the next year.
As a District 5 resident, I want my elected representative to have a strong voice in his replacement. I urge the council to find a way to make this happen. Otherwise, our District 5 representative will be selected by the other 4 districts. That seems wrong.
