Thank you for responding to my call.
I understand that the city arborist does not intend to remove the trees that are extended over Santa Cruz Avenue between OakKnoll Drive and Avy; and that the trees are safe from causing injury.
I do suggest that: The saturated soil and the rain drenched leaves and trunk need to be re-considered.
In the interest of avoiding a future claim, as occurred in Palo Alto (see below) I recommend the removal of the trees that I have described.
This is a walking path, and a very busy street.
