City Council,
I strongly support Maria Doerrs appointment to the vacant position on City Council, representing District 5. She would bring highly valuable and *unique* perspectives to Council, based on her personal and professional experiences.
As an 18-year resident of District 5, I believe civic decision-making needs more input about what attracts *new* residents to Menlo Park, so that we can ensure our long-term vibrancy. As a recent appointee to the Planning Commission, I believe bringing new voices into the political process leads to better long-term outcomes for the city.
Please appoint Maria Doerr to the office of Menlo Park City Council for District 5 for the
unexpired term of former City Councilmember Mueller
