I am writing in support of Tim Sheeper to honor his request to renew his pool contract with Burgess. Tim has done a phenomenal job managing the pool as well as many employees since 2006. The pools attract a variety of different swimmers from children to seniors, beginners to Olympic level, and offers multiple programs for the Menlo Park community, residents, and beyond. Tim and his staff are kind, professional and skilled and everyone feels safe while swimming at Burgess. Tim and his staff are receptive to feedback and make changes to please the clientele. Tim Sheeper is inspiring as a coach and athlete, but also as a leader, a manager, and a friend to all. It will be a HUGE disappointment to the Menlo Park and surrounding communities of swimmers if Tim Sheeper no longer manages the Burgess pools. Please consider renewal of his contract.
