My name is Sue McGlennon. I have been a resident of Menlo Park for 43 years and a member of Menlo Masters for 25 years.
I have nothing but great things to say about Tim Sheeper and how he manages and operates Menlo Swim and Sport. He does an absolutely superb job of including swimmers of all ages and all swimming abilities in his weekly programming. I actually was an employee of Menlo Swim and Sport from 2007 until 2014. I saw how diligent Tim was in his scheduling of all programs during each of the 4 seasons. He was meticulous at organizing the lanes and times so that each and every program could have the maximum amount of lane time possible. He included swim lessons for kids and adults, open swim, lap swim, masters, aqua fit, kids swim team, childrens camps both in the summer months and for school holidays, and water polo. In addition to all of these programs, he was able to accommodate SOLO swim team, an underwater hockey team. Team in Training, and Beyond Barriers ( a program to give free swim lessons to underserved kids that want to learn the life long skill of swimming.)
Tim has successfully managed the pool since 2006. His staff are very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and friendly.
Many of his staff have been employees for a decade or more. The entire pool facility is always kept pristinely clean, including both pools. After witnessing how Tim has managed his organization since 2006 for all Menlo Park residents, and non-residents as well, I am positive that neither SOLO or Swan Companies would be able to do as fine a job as Tim.
