Dear Friends and Neighbors of the City Council,
I look forward to attending the City Council meeting tomorrow night. In particular, I am coming to support many of my fellow Menlo Park-ians who ask that you keep the current configuration of Santa Cruz as it now stands. I am of course referring to the street closure in the block from Starbucks east to the Left Bank. While not lively in inclement weather, it is a happy and bustling area in warmer weather.
Change Santa Cruz Ave into the “Menlo Park Design District”, if you must, but please leave us, the actual citizens of Menlo Park, a block to call our own. Our home.
