City Council:
My dog Kasey and I used to frequently encounter Tobias and his dog Bar while walking in our Willows neighborhood. Every time my dog Kasey and Bar greeted each other a friendly manner and without incident. Although my dog passed away recently, I still encounter Tobias and Bar walking and it is always delightful. They are both very friendly and I was surprised to hear that Bar was involved in an incident that resulted in a complaint that got as far as needing to appear before the City Council. When I first heard about this, I offered to extend my support as Bar is an exceptionally nice Golden Retriever and it would be a travesty if he were punished in any way. I find it impossible to believe that he would engage in harmful dog behavior without being provoked.
I would have liked to attend this special meeting to speak in Bar’s behalf but we are celebrating my husband’s birthday tonight so please accept this e-mail as a token of my support for Bar.
