Good morning. I am urging City Council to designate funds for final design work on the city-wide Quiet Zone initiative in the FY2024 budget. As a 14-year resident of Linfield Oaks, I can attest to the impact of the train noise on daily living--whether out walking, spending time in your backyard, visiting nearby cafes, or simply trying to sleep with windows open. Lets follow the example of our neighboring cities, and make an investment in our community that will improve the quality of life for Menlo Park residents and promote economic vitality for years to come.
