Hi City Council,
I just wanted to advocate to make Menlo Park a quiet zone. My father Prof Vukan R Vuchic is one of the worlds leading transit/transportation experts. He was a professor of transportation engineer at the University of Pennsylvania for over 40 years and many consider him the grandfather of modern urban and mass transit. He considers the horn laws and regulations in the US grossly antiquated and totally ridiculous. Modern day crossing systems have plenty of protections for cars, pedestrians and bikes and horns are totally unnecessary in this situation.
