Dear City Council,
I just drove down Middlefield from Willow Road to Ravenswood today and I would love to know if the new lane striping is a joke or if someone actually thinks narrowing the road to one lane for a short distance is a good idea? From what I can tell Middlefield will now go from one lane in Palo Alto to two lanes between the creek and Willow then narrow down to a single lane before expanding to two lanes then going back to a single lane in Atherton. Why dont we just leave it as it is since that has been working fine for decades? It really is not necessary to mess with the traffic and parking on all the major streets in Menlo Park.
