Thank you so much for the work you, and especially Betsy, did on the Clock Works permitting issue!! The compromise is reasonable. It does sound like the bar/restaurant would have put those limits on themselves even without the permit restrictions but at least the codified rules are better for neighbors than they were. Thank you!!
I noticed that the Council is concerned about freeway, airplane and other noise in Belle Haven. You should be! It’s a problem that has been ignored for far too long and particularly egregious because it falls on racial and financial lines. I also noticed that you don’t seem concerned about noise for people who live in areas that have been designated for urbanization. Can you tell me more about that discrepancy?
On a semi-related note, but asked without judgement on your answer to my previous question, can you tell me the recourses that neighbors have if there are issues with urbanization-type noise? Is it just call the police?
