Dear City Council members,
Please move forward with trees and whatever else can serve as a barrier to the negative effects generated by the 101/Willow Interchange in the affected neighborhoods.
I recently came to find out that after the massive 101/Willow Road Interchange project was finished, there were no replacement trees put in place to minimize as much as possible the ongoing noise, light and air pollution for those residents in Belle Haven, Willows or Suburban Park whose neighborhoods are adjacent to the interchange, and who have had to endure more than their share of construction noise and disruption during the project.
Our suburban city is getting more and more disrupted by various building projects and their aftereffects such as noise, traffic , etc. Although I do not live adjacent to the Interchange, I feel the residents of Menlo Park all need whatever form of relief that can be had from these aftereffects in their particular neighborhoods. Please move forward with planting those trees!!
Many thanks,
Nancy Hosay
