Hello,
My name is Rebecca Loewke and our family lives at 248 Oakhurst Place, Menlo Park. We can not attend the city council meeting tonight, but wanted to reach out in regards to Item K on the agenda tonight.
Our two young children have attended Solo swim team since 2021. Tom and Robert offer a welcoming and unique swim team option that I do not think any other team in the area offers. Both Tom and Robert are at every practice coaching and working with our kids, not high school or college kids. Tom wants the kids to have a lifelong love of swimming, so there is not the stress of competition, attending every practice, or having all the team gear.
In this area, sports can become overwhelming at an early age. Were so thankful for Solo and I think it would be a huge mistake to not let them operate at Burgess pool.
