Request for Exception to Allow Annual Overnight Parking Passes for Morgan Lane Community

Dear City Council Members,

I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of the Homeowners Association (HOA) of Morgan Lane, I am writing to express our sincere gratitude for your dedicated service to our community. We deeply appreciate the efforts of the City Council to ensure our city is an inclusive, vibrant, and thriving place to call home.

Morgan Lane, nestled within the heart of this beautiful city, has been a cherished community for many years. Our residents take great pride in maintaining our neighborhood, contributing positively to the local environment, and being actively engaged in civic life.

Over time, we have noticed a growing concern among our residents regarding overnight parking. Our communitys demographics have evolved, and with it, the need for greater flexibility in accommodating the parking requirements of our homeowners, especially since the houses were not constructed with driveways. We have received numerous requests from our residents to explore the possibility of allowing annual overnight parking passes within our community.

We understand and respect the parking regulations that have been established by the City Council to maintain order and safety. However, we believe that an exception for our community could provide several benefits for both our residents and the city as a whole.

We would like to explore a collaborative approach to address this concern. The Morgan Lane HOA is open to working closely with the City Council and local authorities to establish specific guidelines and terms that align with the citys interests and the needs of our community. We believe this can be an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between our neighborhood and the city.

We kindly request that you consider this proposal, and we would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss this matter in more detail. Our HOA is committed to finding a solution that ensures the well-being of our residents while respecting the interests of the city at large.

Thank you for taking the time to review our request. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and find a solution that benefits both the residents of Morgan Lane and the broader community.

Warm regards,

Francesca Baraggioli - Representing Morgan Lane HOA
