Please open it up entirely. No more grungy plazas. No more restaurant closings.
If you want downtown to be vibrant, you have to make it easy for people to get there! People shouldnt have to avoid turning on to the main street and sneak in through side streets. And we shouldnt have to sneak out on side streets instead of going directly out on Santa Cruz Ave.
Public roads, paid for and maintained with public money, should not be turned into places for people to sit. You have a lovely little park down by Draegers.
Im glad the council majority has finally realized the plaza was a bad idea. Please dont take half steps now. Open up Santa Cruz Ave and let us all in!
