The 4th Friday band downtown 5-9 p.m. plays at a cruel, ear bending, decibel
level. The event is a nice idea to get folks downtown. But why so
ridiculously loud?
I like to walk my dog downtown, dine in the various restaurants, shop in
the stores. But avoid 4th Fridays.
I am now totally deaf in one ear and profoundly deaf in the other. I have
to remove my one custom made hearing aid in order to get past the band if I
have to be near there.
I wonder if there has been a tally of number of visitors on blast music
nights and on other Fridays.
Does it really noticeably increase visitors?
Regardless, PLEASE REQUIRE A REASONABLE DECIBEL LEVEL.
