Hello City Council and Senior Staff, This tall spire is over a city street light and the live electric wires serving 2 homes with young children .
If it snaps off in a windstorm it will adversely affect both the neighbors, as well as pedestrians, cyclists and autos immediately underneath.
PGE suggested we contact the city as it’s city’s responsibility to protect the street light and citizens from possible serious injury or worse.
PGE says they will only deal with if it’s resting on live wires.
No tree service company would risk topping this with a myriad of wires below.
We’ve left several messages with Public Works Maintenance Chief this week ,
but not even the courtesy of a return phone call.
We would appreciate having Public Works take action on this matter before a tragedy occurs.
Appreciate your action on this ASAP.
