Dear City Council members,
Writing to urge next steps to implement the findings of the Coleman and Ringwood Avenues Transportation project to support safe routes to schools. The San Mateo BPAC committee, The Menlo Park City School District principals, Sequoia Union High School District superintendent, and the principal of Menlo-Atherton High School have come together in support of the one-way pilot program on Coleman Avenue as they believe it to be the smoothest and quickest way forward to increase the safety of Coleman Avenue at this time. Coleman and Ringwood Avenues are heavily used roads for students and families of Laurels Lower and Upper Campuses, Encinal School, and MA High School and student safety is our priority.
