Hello Menlo Park City Council,
Can you please share the current plans for 40 Middlefield with me? I live around the corner on Willow and several of my neighbors
and I have yet to see the updated plans that the planning committee reviewed.
My understanding is that the original proposal was about 3,600 sq ft (~15 employees) and the new proposal is roughly the same
size. What they did do was propose a parking puzzler, which I don't believe solves the issue. I would want to see a smaller
building, not an attempt at increasing parking by putting some of it up in the air since I have to believe that many people will
choose the park on the neighborhood streets rather than on the "puzzler".
I'd like to review their revised plans in more detail, but so far on the surface I am not supportive of the current proposal. I'd
like to see them put in a smaller building that only requires as much parking as they can actually fit around the building.
