I live in District 5 and my children attend La Entrada Middle School. After opening a brand new building this fall, the school has
experienced three separate water main breaks that flooded classrooms and require extensive clean up. The first was in October and
resulted in at least two cancelled school days. The second and third were today.
As of 15 minutes ago, there was no evidence of any city utility activity at the school during the ongoing re-flooding of
classrooms cleaned up only hours ago.
Could you please let me (and the rest of your affected constituents) know what the city is planning to do to remedy this situation
and prevent more flood damage and lost school days?
