I hope this email finds you well. My name is Daniel Flores and I am an undergraduate student studying politics at Bates College in
Lewiston, ME. As part of my senior thesis, I am looking at immigration policy across cities in the United States, specifically
whether or not cities comply with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers. For this reason, I would greatly appreciate
it if you could report whether or not law enforcement in your city complied with detainers between 2011 and 2016. This information
is for an undergraduate thesis and will not be published. It would be a great assistance if you could respond to this request
within the next five days.
