Dear Menlo Park City Council,
The San Mateo County Republican Party is leading the charge to defeat Measure RR, the unfair county wide sales tax to fund Caltrain.
Mass transportation requires mass ridership. Working from home is working. Ridership may never recover to pre-Covid levels. Empty trains will not reduce pollution. This tax disproportionately impacts low income San Mateo County residents who are not the primary ridership of Caltrain.
Vote NO on Measure RR! Say No to Taxes on Empty Trains!
Here at the SMGOP our "all volunteer" committee has been working diligently this year to raise enough funds to support our positions on important issues like Measure RR, we have been working on this issues since the Spring. We need your help to defeat this burdensome and untimely tax.
