Good evening council members of Menlo Park,
I am writing in support of the five alternative loading zone options proposed by Draeger’s Market and urging you to approve one of
their well thought out alternatives. Menlo Park thrives off of their local businesses and the history of Draeger’s.
Loading Zone Alternative DescriptionsListed in Order of Preference
* Redesign the proposed project garage entrance to Menlo Avenue to retain the existing Evelyn Street loading zone
* Redesign the proposed project garage entrance south on Evelyn Street closer to Menlo Avenue in order to preserve a reduced
loading zone on Evelyn Street
* Create a loading zone on Evelyn Street between Menlo Avenue and the proposed project garage entrance without any redesign
* Relocate the loading zone to Menlo Avenue
* Relocating the loading zone across the street to the other side of Evelyn Street
We currently live on Roble and my dad lived at 1000 Creek Drive before moving to 69 Yale Road, so Menlo Park is at the core of our
family. I love the feel it maintains and the businesses we support and look forward to keeping it that way for years to come. The
idea of Draeger’s not around seems impossible.
