The project is WAY out of scale for this location.
More study and buy in from residents is needed. Downtown Menlo Park is full of empty store fronts already. This will not energize downtown Santa Cruz Ave. Please slow down and put out public notice on the site itself. Perhaps close off the parking that will be affected for a week and let it sink in to residents exactly what it will look like.
