I think Downtown Menlo Park will need more parking in the future in addition to the affordable housing.
Just as the downtown area is starting to become a dining destination, we lose half of the parking available under this plan.
This could be a devastating blow to the 4 planned new restaurants in 2024 and 2025. I doubt the new owners think the parking is surplus.
How hard will it be to visit the hardware store if this is done? We need parking also.
