I do not approve of this. Parking is really hard in downtown as it is. People circle round and round trying to find a place to park when shopping. It is especially hard for older folks or people with kids. Menlo Park downtown is practically dead whereas downtown Los Altos is vibrant. It has parking lots and many small retail businesses instead of rug shops and other non-walk in businesses. Plus there is no decent transportation in the area for people with limited mobility.
